So what or how do you get ideas for a picture book?
Personally I draw on the seasons, I usually always have a few ideas that center around the holidays. I also draw from things going on around me. People I see, last year I remember the first day of PiBoIdMo, I was in a store and an incident happened and there was a child along, and I looked at it from the child's POV, and bam there was an idea for a story.
Use whatever you must, yesterdays post from Kelly Bingham had great ideas to jump start your thinking process.
